I bought a V1 and tried closing the battery compartment as suggested by dave, but the power light came on then went off again and it wouldn&#039;t work at all. I returned the unit and have just got a replacement, so I hope I have better luck this time.</description>

		<description>Some batteries are larger than others and can be a pain to fit into the V1.
The trick is to hook the two front tabs of the battery door in first.  Then rotate the battery door down while pulling back slightly. The door should snap right in.</description>
